I love my all black XD but I'd love to offset it a bit. I would obviously like to get a match barrel but thats sold out, and of course so is the tungsten guide rod, but I was wondering how i could go about getting the chrome look on the other parts like the slide release and mag release button. I would love to see some pics if you got em, or ideas of how to go about achieving this look. I have $300 budgeted for my gun and now everything is sold out, help me pimp my gun!

Don't know how expensive it'd be to chrome everything.
You might consider duracoat. Buy the color and spray it on. You can get the full airbrush kit and paint for about 60 bucks shipped and if you don't like the color, just spray another coat on top of it.

I dunno though. Post pics of whatever you do.

OK, I'm proposing that we make this a TV show, like pimp my ride. We will start with chroming this guys XD for him. We can travel aroound the country and pimp out fellow XDTalk members' pistols. Yeah, I want my pistol pimped for free, so lets do it! Who's with me??

We'd need a really popular guy to host, doesn't matter if he knows a thing about the topic, but he'll pick up your gun and drive them to Springer Precision or Canyon Creek were the gun will be pimped in just a few days. It is later unveiled from a safe while AC/DC's Thunderstruck is cranked in the shop. Does that sound like a fun show??
