Question how many of you all CCW with a 45 ACP?

i have been wanting to go and get my CCW and get it all done with and was concedering if i wanted to get another XD to CCW was looking at the XD 40 SC to carry but getting another gun right now is not really in the budget so i am concedering just using my 45 ACP but im not a large guy and am a little courious about conceling it well enough.... i have thought about getting the Crossbreed holster to carry with but with the cost of it and the time you have to wait to get one is it really worth that?
any other holsters that you all can think of to CCW would be a help and any other opinions as well would be a big help

With the right holster and outfit, any gun can be concealed. Having said that, there is a difference in being able to carry it concealed and actually carrying it everyday. For me, personally, I opt for smaller/slimmer handguns for every day carry.

i have a Galco M7X Matrix for my XD45 compact 4" and it works really well for concealing under just about everything. it's an OWB holster, but for $20, it works for now.

i would like to get a smaller framed gun like a kahr P9 or PM9 for summer carry, but the wife needs a gun first.

I carry a .45acp of one flavour or another daily. Either my Xd compact, full size 1911, Lwt. Commander 1911, Glock 36. Buy the right gear I prefer OWB but do carry IWB depending on clothing. I'm not a big guy either....

I carry my XD-45 Compact on a regular basis in a Crossbreed QwikClip, Don Hume IWB, or SmartCarry; depending on activity and clothing.

I carry a 45acp, but it's an OM. I also like the P239 in 40 or 357sig.

I'm an average sized guy (5' 11'', 180 lbs) and carry a XD 45ACP Service in a Wild Bill's IWB concealment holster most days. Other times I carry a Khar K9 in the same type of holster. A 2:00 to 2:30 carry works well for me. A loose shirt is all I need to conceal just about anything in that position.
