or tell him you're going to sell it to him at a premium since you now have to get one and wait for it to get the work done.

sell him your gun and make some money off of it to do something extra so your gun is still nicer.


i love taking my wife shooting. it's fun. she's only shot a handgun twice, both with me. first time was two revolvers, only a couple shots out of .22 and .32 s&w revolvers and the next time out was a glock 17 9mm and an XD45 compact. she said she didn't notice much of a difference in the recoil, but she could feel that the .45 was more a push in your hand and the 9mm was more of a snappy pop. she liked both guns.

I don't find the PT145 any smaller at all. Well maybe a quarter of an inch on the grip....l.

Seriously, my G/F will go to watch me shoot but won't go near my guns. Her choice. We took a co-worker to introduce him to shooting and the ear-to-ear grin was worth the time and effort so I can only imagine how much more rewarding it is to see that on a G/F or wife's face.
