Perfect Customer Service At Springfield

I'm here to tell you that customer service at Springfield is #1 in my books. I ordered a new guide rod for my 45xd last Wednesday & it shows up on my front porch this evening. That's plenty quick for me.

It looked like at the end the goes up against the barrell, it was cracking in a circular design as if it were fixing to break a hole in the center of it. I called S/A & they ask how many rounds had been through it & if were over 4000 the guide round needed to be replaced ,so thats what I did. After installing it I could definetly feell the difference in the spring when I racked it to load up!

I agree, I couldn't find any 10 rd capacity mags for my xd45 anywhere. Everyone was telling me they were on backorder...so I called Springfield and 4 days later my mags showed up at my door and for a surprisingly good price.

The only experience I have had with SA Customer Service had to do with a 1911 TRP. It was shooting 2 & 1/2" groups at 25 yards but 6" above point of aim. Sent it in for new sights and had it back in hand 17 days later with new tritium sights, no charge. Also had a test target showing that it had been sighted in for POI/POA at 25 yards. Needless to day, I was quite pleased with the service I got.
