My range report.....
Went to my local range today with my new XD45 service and 100 rounds
of WWB that i bought yesterday. Also took along some rounds that I had sitting in magazines for my officers model 1911. This is one accurate weapon IMHO. Since I am a bit out of practice i had about 3 fliers , but after i settled down the weapon shot POA right nicely. The trigger take up isn't bad at all and the reset is quickly picked up. Since the sights on my 1911 are what one would call tiny, the stock sights on the XD are really nice for a change. They are picked up after firing really fast. All in all I am MORE than satisfied with the XD45!!! The only bad thing about this mornings range time is that I ran out of ammo!!! Also not one FTF or FTE ....no problems of any type.....except the ammo thing LOL! Take care guys and I will be posting more from now on. Rob

Congrats on the new XD45. I also like mine a lot. I also have the same ammo problem like others.

I bought a XD45 5 inch tactical a few weeks ago and finally got it to the range yesterday. It is surprisingly accurate, at 20 yds off hand I was keeping all hits with in 3 inches and most were in a 2 inch group.
