i got it! woohoo!
i snaked thru the gunshow at 9 this morning and snagged my pistol instead of waiting until tomorrow
after all of my second-guessing, i went with my gut and got the tactical model--and after fiddling with it all morning instead of working, i dig it you know--it should come with 3 mags though, since you get the neat little mag carrier and only 2 mags, you always have one magazine receptacle empty i guess that's how they sucker you into forking out more scratch on that third mag--those bastards can't wait til monday to go make some noise!! |

I'm guessing from the forum you got the .45. Where was the gun show you got it at?

man its slick
i thought about posting a pic--but i could really post some other pic of a black tactical xd45 (they all look suspiciously alike--i think they're up to something with that)--and mine would look naked without the light i'll pick up for it tomorrow--most likely a streamlight trl1 or, if i get really saucy, a trl2 oh, i almost forgot--MikeS.; i got it at the suncoast show here in lakeland fl Last edited by opfor; 06-02-2007 at 05:44 PM. |

Congrats. I would love to add a 45 Tactical someday. My Step Dad has one so maybe someday it will be mine.

Mags and more mags
Hey, Opfor, congratulations on a very astute purchase.
Unfortunately the XDs only come with two mags, but they'll be happy if you buy lots more. Right now Midway has them on sale for $21.99 each. That's $6 less than what my dealer charges for them.  Here's something for you--the first target I shot with my Tactical.
