Thanks for the kind words.
Just got finished field stripping, cleaning and lubing it. To me...the trigger pull seems lighter than that on my Officers model 1911. Got to love the fact that it holds 13+1.....and .45acp at that! Now i have to get a good leather carry holster for it. Take care guys.....oh and when i can get a new usb cable for my digital camera i will post pics of it. Later Rob

Hey welcome, as you can see from my post count I just joined too. I bought my XD45 about a week ago and am in love. Here's a pic of it all shiny and new.
