What Ammo does your XD45 not like?

I run a xd45c and the only ammo I've really had a problem with is the Wolf Steel cased ammo. It binds up in the mag.

Some of the cheapo ammo fires fine but is innacurate as hell. I stick with Federal Am Eagle 230 gr and CCI blazer 230gr.

no problems so far with CCI Blazer Brass or Winchester White Box stuff.

I haven't put any hollow points through it yet, but soon enough.

My 45 HATES the Wolf steel cased stuff too. Jams in the mag and that makes the rounds not fully go into battery so that it jams in the slide.

I have only put UMC brass cased stuff and wolf crap through it. It had zero problems with the UMC stuff.

FFs and Misfeeds with Ammo

My XD45 had regular failure to feed and misfeeds when trying it out new tiha a variety of premium brand hollow point and ball target ammo. No Wolf, no reloads.

Sent it back to SA w/ mags as regularly carry my weapons for defense of self and others. SA modified the locking block and replaced the 3 mags.

I then left it where I bought it to install an internal laser. I mentioned to the gunsmith there I sent it to Sa for FF and misfeed problems. He responded without me saying more, that SA modified the XD45 locking block and strengthened the steel in the 45 mags since the first models were sold, because of FF and misfeeds with those early models.

Originally I couldn't get through a mag without FFs and or misfeeds. Haven't shot it yet since it was repaired and had some combat custom work done on it. Still using my backup XD 9 until I thoroughly vet the 45.

Yesterday I sold one of a pair of S&W Stainless 9s I used to count on that have shot all top brand ammo without a problem. Again, never shot Wolf in those either, but the 5906s have had the fewest firing problems of any pistol I ever shot, although followed closely by a Sig stainless once it was broke in after about 300 rounds. The XD9 is fussy about some reload ammo I can shoot flawlessly through the 5906.

My 45 tac jams with Federal HST Tactical +p. And the mags get stuck when I try to reload. No issues with other ammo I have tried.

My XD45 has eaten everything I've fed it. I've shot Winchester White Box, Winchester Ranger SXT, CCI Blazer Brass, CCI Blazer Aluminum and reloads. I never shot steel cased ammo.

I had a few failure to feeds using rainier HPs. The tip would get hung up in the chamber probably because they're kinda pointy and soft.

I've put 1300+ rounds of a combination of WWB, Blazer Brass, Independence, Fiocchi, and Remington UMC FMJ's through my ACP with zero gun-induced problems (my new-shooter brother got it to FTF twice, but I've had no issues). I've put about 50 Speer Gold Dots through it just to make sure it likes my defensive ammo--also zero problems.

The only type of ammo I've heard of XD's disliking are semi-wadcutters. Something about the shape of the bullet's nose hangs up and you can get FTF's, but I haven't tried any personally.

I don't think I could get a wadcutter through mine with a HAMMER! It will eat anything else just as fast as you can feed it!
