I shoot Blazer Brass, Ga. Arms FMJ and Ga. Arms Gold Dot through my XD45. Never had an issue with any of them.

I fired about 120rds of mixed factory & handloads through my new TAC. Everything worked great excpet my handloaded 200grLSWC. I ad a FTF about 1-6, somtimes as few as 1-10. This covered 6 factory loads 5 handloads. I was impressed w/ the accuracy & reliability especially in a new pistol.

The aim is great, but your pulling down on the trigger. You missed the dog completely

Only problem I've ever had with my tactical was with the older green laquer coated wolf ammo. After about 50 rounds I fired a round, it went off but the slide didn't cycle. I couldn't pull the slide back by hand at first but after about 5 minutes I was able to retract the slide and eject the fired case. Took it home cleaned it and checked the barrel and bore and saw nothing out of the ordinary. Next day I tried again (hey I had 500 rounds of the stuff given to me and I'm cheap) with the same results after 50 or so rounds. I'd shot about 1500 rounds of the new gray ploymer coated wolf ammo before with no problems but for some reason the Xd didn't like the old green stuff. (my hk USP compact ate up the rest with no problems)
If I hadn't started reloading I'd still shoot the new wolf ammo. By and large I've had good luck with wolf ammo and I've shot thousands of rounds of it in 9mm, 5.56, 45, and 40s&w. This was the only problem I've had with wolf ammo and the ONLY jam I've had with my tactical. My compact still remains flawless with all ammo tried.

My 45 compact has put everything I could feed through it. A round dipped in peanut butter (don't ask)... no problem. And a GAP round that somehow made it into my box fed to my ULTIMATE surprise.

I've shot several types of ammo through my XD, only had a problem with some hydrashoks that seemed to have slipped through QC (but God bless federal, they sent me 3 boxes to make up for it!).

So far, I've ran this through my XD with no problems (all 230gr loads):
Remington UMC (White/Green Box)
Remington UMC (Yellow Box)
CCI Blazer
CCI Blazer Brass
Federal Hydrashoks
Hornady TAP +P
Bunch of "Bunny fart" reloads (230gr. LRN over 4.3 of Green Dot)

I was looking to POSSIBLY purchase some "Wolf" ammo, but after reading these reviews and comments....NOT!!!!

CCI Blazer Brass is what I am pushing!

I have put 5000 rounds of wolf through my XD-45 service model and have never has a singel issue. Every weapon is different. You should get a box of 50 and see how you gun likes it. If you don't reload and your gun will shoot it is a very economical solution. It also shoots just as clean as WWB in my XD.
