Maybe I'm missing something here (won't be the first time), but with the XD45's tapered magazine, why would one need a mag well?

http://www.smartlock.com/index.htm I got one but am still waiting for my XD45 to arrive so don't know how well it fits. Will post when the gun gets here. Oh, BTW, that place sells them on eBay a lot, too.
