I'm really liking these XD45s!

I recently picked up a couple XD45s to serve as my "bad weather" guns. I bought them because I was impressed with how well SA packed 14 rounds into these little girls and the trigger reset is similar in distance to my P7s. I put 100 rounds of 230 Gr. Bonded Rangers through one and I use it for carry. The other I stuffed in my ammo box with a few mags and it is my shooter. I just rounded the 1000 round mark with it today. I've fed it a steady diet of Wally World Blazer Brass. It hasn't had a single hiccup. Did I mention that I never cleaned it? Well, I did wipe the muzzle down a couple of times. I think these two are going to be keepers! Before one of the OC gun cleaners out there has a stroke, I did give her a much deserved bath today.

Welcome to the forum!

Just as trivia, it wasnt SA who packed 14 rounds into these XD's, it is credited to the Croation arms manufacturer named HS, who actually makes this handgun.

Well my hat is off to those Croats!

This isn't my first XD BTW. I've had the 9s and 40s in the past but they never really hooked me like this 45.

Welcome to the XD45 Family!

I love my XD45. I am more accurate with this firearm than I have been with any other. My wife selected the SAXD-9 Service. She has a smaller hand than I, and it fit better for her. For a gal that has not shot a hand gun much, she has turned into quite a shooter. Very proud of her!

When I picked up my first XD45 I knew I was in trouble. When I shot a borrowed XD45 I knew I was sunk.
Now the Dillon press is cranking out .45 Auto overtime just to feed the new baby!
