My first Xd was/is a 45acp tactical. Second (and only other Xd) is a 45 compact.

First was a XD9 Service, second was an XD9 sc for carry. The Service was passed on to the wife who then wanted a subcompact for herself. We're very happ with our Xds.

Probably the XD9-TAC for shooting Minor. How soon depends if the new higher sight that Ruger is sending fixes the shooting low problem on my P89. If I do, it's at least a couple months after my 9mm AR arrives this fall.
Even more later if a deal on a .22 wheel gun comes along.

Service and Compact
My first was the service model .45 ACP. My second is the .45 ACP compact 5". I can switch out the slides (the 4" has Tru Glo TFO's, the 5" just stock fixed). Very versatile when switching between CCW and HD. Really a great platform for .45 ACP. Thinking about a Lasermax for the service. Any comments or suggestions?
