.45 Compact is Kewl!

Picked it up yesterday. Ordered the left handed freebie today along with some mag sleeves. I have a black gun and ordered 2 black sleeves for the 2 extra mags I bought and 2 tan sleeves to quickly identify a different type of ammo in that particular mag. Got a extra flush 10 rounder too. Man this is addictive. I also have a .40 cal. service model. Next is a 9mm for the wife and kids to enjoy

I also just purchased my 45c and E-mailed Springfield. They said they were out of left-handed belt slides, but would send me a paddle holster! It took them exactly 1 hour and 7 minutes to reply to my message. AWESOME!!!

The XD-45 Compact is the ultimate big bore carry gun in my opinion. It is about the size of the Glock 19 with a smaller grip, 10 rounds of .45acp goodness, and it just feels damn good in the hand.

Now if Pearce would just make a pinky extension for the 10 round mag it would be a super duper kind of ultimate.

Have to agree with you Cowboy. I liked my Compact, but I really like my Compact Tactical. A full-sized .45 with a short grip for carry. What's not to like

I live life by never accepting that the words "tactical" and "compact" should ever be used together.

Carried it all day today and was pleased that it concealed better than my Service model. Hopefully S/A will expand the Compact line next year.
