I've been saving for the past 3 weeks and now i finally have enough.. this weeks check came in today.. and i was adding up my total savings and i'm like "holy, i finally have enough"
I can honestly say i havnt been this excited about a purchase in years..
Anyone else share my feelings the night before they got their XD?

Feels good when you plunk down that hard to save up cash
I just got my compact yesterday and am already "dressing" it up.
Ah well, it's only $ and I'll make more

You're gonna LOVE it. I went from an XD service to a compact 45 XD and love the thing. I can't wait to get another one. Now all I need are some more 10rd mags for it!!

I am assuming that since this is the Xd45 Forum, that you are going to pickup your XD45?

Just curious...why the XD45?

Nevertheless, have fun and enjoy!

Theres just something about the .45 that i love, not just the gun but the round in general. (well, i DO love the XD45C too, its so sexy)
9mm is cool too, but i guess its just a personal preferance. that will probly be my next XD (i'm planning on having many lol)

It's rare when an American actually saves money and pays for something in real funds and not with credit. That's very commendable.

Congratulations on both getting your XD and on buying it with real money!

Vert...
I went down the same road - bought an XD45C for CCW. Within a month I bought an XD9 Tactical. Two different guns - each with their own "feeling". Often ake them to the range and shoot both.

-1 on the 10rd mags for the XD45C . I keep checking the on-line stores and gun shops, rare as hens' teeth. Someday soon, maybe?

I got my XD45c last weekend. I didn't need to save up. My gun shop has 6 months no interest. I get to shoot it while I take 6 months to pay it off.

You can't go wrong w/ a .45 ACP.... This about it, people have been defending themself w/ the .45 for over one hundred years (1890's - 1900's) and it's STILL never been close to replaced...
