you asked and you shall recieve...
you could decock it by manually putting something in the rear of the slide to drop the sear, thus releasing the striker... doing this will cause the striker to be stopped by the striker safety, not causing the gun to fire... do not use live ammo... for obvious reasons... |

I do not own an XD so forgive my ignorance, I just want to see if I understand this...
It's single action with a striker, so does that mean that it is (for all practical purposes) impossible to have a chambered round and the striker decocked? |
