I bought the 4" XD 45 service model this morning and just got back from my first shoot. It takes me ten minutes to get to a range or 10 minutes to go to the "dobies". There are no other folks to worry about shooting you at the dobies so it's an easy choice and it's free. I put 52 rounds of 230 grain fmj Winchester target loads and a half of box of 20 year old Federal 230's. No FTF, FTE or hiccups of any kind. Every pop can within sight was fatally wounded. I had one bad flier in the whole bunch. This is one sweet shooting little pistol.

I have the tactical and I love mine. Accurate and comfortable. I just need to practice more. My brother just got a glock 22 (.40) and I have to prove that my Croatian .45 is better than his Austrian .40!
