XD 45 compact has arrived

Just wanted to let all of you know I am now official. My XD45 compact is now at my home waiting for her first outing to the range.

Nice Mike, let us know how it is. I am waiting for mine to come in, I think it will be here Tuesday or Wednesday. I am pretty excited to check it out and I just ordered holsters for it through Brommeland and will change my order with Garrity and have him make one for the XD now also.

Pretty exciting stuff.

Which holster did you order from Broomeland?

A Max-on V (IWB) and a Def-Con (OWB) along with a new mag pouch I think he is calling Tac-Con? I have been waiting on two Def-Con's for my 1911's for a long time and just changed the order today for the XD instead, I have plenty of 1911 holsters.

I've also got two In-Cognitios on order for 1911's but will change at least one of those to the XD and also add a mag pouch to go with it.

I have a Max-Con V for my Glock 22 and love it. Trying to decide between another Max-Con V or a Dakota Defender from K&D for this one.

I've got three Max-Con's and a couple Def-Con's from Gary, they are pretty hard to beat, I have yet to find anything more comfortable IWB as the MC-V. K&D makes some great holsters as well, it's really a toss up. K&D seems to be much more accurate with his lead times.

I have two holsters from K&D and will be ordering an Eagle Defender for my compact for OWB. Took the compact to the range yesterday and I love this gun. 125 rounds and not a single hiccup. I was a little concerned about the short grip but it shoots great. This is a keeper .
