Does anyone have any info on if parts are coming more available yet for the xd's? Nice but I want to buy parts like I can for glocks and other guns without sending them back you know what I mean would be nice, so if anyone knows or knows how to find out let me know.
Thanks

Depending on what it is that you need, Springfield does ship a few basic parts. But, most things are going to require shipping your gun. With the lifetime warranty, I don't think they really want to encourage people buying parts and tinkering. Plus, they get better data on quality control.

If they were to take a firm stance that they won't ever sell spare parts, I think youl'll see more companies making aftermarket parts. Right now, nobody wants to invest a ton of money making replacement parts because they would be screwed if Springfield changes their policy.

Do a search as this is a major source of frustration and commentary on XD's. The parts policy of Springfield is well documented here.

Springer precision is making a few parts for the XD now, sear, springs, trigger bar, there are also several companies producing guide rods.
