Put another thousand rounds through it and then make the call. I have the .45 tac and it broke in fine for me. However there are tons of options available to trick it out. Just use the search tab at the top of the page.

Barsto and EFK Fire Dragon make them, there may be others as well but you can start there. The real difference is how you are as a shooter, if you stink then these wont make you better. I can say that I like my EFK barrel, it tightened my groups up a little but the real difference was that I noticed less "strays." I agree you should shoot it more though and get used to it and let everything settle in. Finding a brand or load that your gun likes makes a big difference too, try different stuff and see what works.

As already said, upgrade your range time and all will work out. SA does a great carry job with fast turn around.

match barrels will make your gun more accurate, the question is, can you shoot well enough to notice any differences?

The guns group or my group is ok . I was very inpressed with it. Its a great out of the box gun.I would like a better short and crisp trigger and smooth the recoil for a faster follow up shot I just heard of these up grades and was wondering if they were as good as they say.Yes i do need more rang time with this gun . I was hoping to make it more of a match gun like my kimber 45 i sold .The xd tac 5" is a very accurate gun as is.Thanks for the input guys..
