XD 45 acp compact - Any complaints?
I have a chance to trade my XD 45 Service for an Xd 45 Service compact. I love my full sized service model and yet I think I may love the compact model more
Thanks for your input

No complaints at all. I like the Compact and just bought the Compact Tactical and it's been great too. I bought some extra mags with the spacer from pistolgear.com, so no problem getting extra mags. Besides you can use the regular 13rnd mags with the compacts without the spacer, I didn't have any problems at all using them without the spacer.
I really like the feel of the 10rnd mags too, just fits my hand and if you are going to carry at all, get the Compact model for sure.

Funny, I traded my .40 sub compact for a 4" service model. Go for it, you should go with what "fits" and is comfortable to you.

Secondly, going from XD Service to Compact should be no problem. I personally perfer the "feel" of the 357/40/9mm model in my hand, but nothing beats the hole a 45 leaves...
