New XD45 Compact Coming
Well I took the plunge and ordered an XD45 Compact Service Model today. It should be in Friday afternoon. I hate having to wait but such is life. Just thought I would share the good news.

Congrats on the Compact. I'm sure you'll like it as well as I do/did. I replaced mine with the Compact Tactical since I use it mainly for the range, but like to carry it when clothing permits.
Let us know how it shoots.

I have a question, but I don't know exactly which thread to post it in. Sorry.
I have a 45ACP compact with the Trijicon tritium sites (installed by a gunsmith, not me) and it seemed pretty accurate when I first got it. These days all of my shots are 2-3 inches low at 21-30 ft. What am I doing wrong or different than when I first started shooting it? (basically, is there common grip/stance problem that would make me suddenly start hitting low?) BTW, I alway shoot 230g remington bullets at the range. No change. |

I would start by making sure the right sites were installed. If they are the wrong height then that will change your point of aim.
