XD vs. Glock Trigger
Well, I've searched in vain all over the XD forums trying to find a comparison between the stock XD trigger pull vs. Glock. Which one has the best "out of the box" trigger pull and why?

I prefer the XD trigger. IMO it feels better and is not as mushy.

glock trigger does have less travel, may allow for faster follow up shots, BUT they are close enough to pick which ever one fits you better. the xd does have a much cleaner break to its trigger.

When I shoot my friends Glocks I usually end up with a blister from the trigger slap. I can't stand Glock they don't fit me.
Glock has less triger reset and travel.

I own Glocks and XDs if you clean up a couple of parts you can improve the triggers on both about 100% The gritty feeling will disappear and you can get a pretty nice SNAP and you dont have to be a rocket scientist to do the work

For me the reset on the Glock is a little better. After you have fired a round with the Glock you can let the trigger travel foreward and you will feel when it has reset. When shooting th XD that reset point is not as easy for me to feel. Now I will admit I have much more experience with Glocks so this may account for the difference.

Glock is made out of anti-Ishpeck polymers. My opinion is therefore invalid.

For the me trigger safety on the Glocks don't follow the same curve as the trigger as much as the XD's does. This makes the Glock have horrible trigger slap compared to my XD.
