I took the XD to the range Saturday and everyone loved it. Three people that I let shoot it, loved it so much, they put it on their to-get-list. It was extremely accurate at 15 yrds. Most shots fell within the size of the top of coke can.

It operated flawlessly...duh.

Tha last time I was at the range, I had stranges coming up to me and asking if I had and XD and what caliber. I have a 45 XD Service. The gun sells itself. I shot one and before I bought it and after the second trigger pull I knew I had to have one!

I got addicted enough that I bought the only must have accessory that Springfield didn't put in the box: an RCBS supreme reloading press.

I am at about 14 months and about 3000 rounds thru mine. Daily carried except when at work, then it is a glock 27 in my belt.

XD's are great firearms. I get similar responses when we go to the range. The in door range has a few XD's you can rent.
