I am the new owner of a XD45 compact and I am currently looking for a holster.

I have used the search feature and found one.

My question is about my order.

The site does not list the compact under the order page.

Will a holster for a xd45 service work for the compact as well?

I believe my answer is yes because both are the same except for the shorter grip on the compact.

I just dont want to spend any money on something that will not fit my gun.

XD 45 Compact **IS** the service with a shorter grip. So, in the future, anything that mentions XD45 Service should work find for the compact (minus, of course, mags... which require the mag sleeve).

...and even the mags will work without the sleeve, you'll just have that shiny metal part sticking out

I just wanted to make sure before I sent off money.

I ordered The Infidel by comp-tac with the tucker strut and belt clip. As you can tell this is my first holster and I know I might have to buy a few to get the best fit/comfort for myself. I hope I selected a decent one on the first time around.

that is alright. if you don't like the infidel, put it up for sale here and you will easily get 70% of your money back after you pay shipping.
