Question Wierd thing at the range

I was shooting my 45acp compact and I had a few rounds not go ff I thought squibs I checked the primers and there was no mark on the primer . I then noticed when it happens the striker status indicator was not comming the whole way back out of the hole . It did it a few more time's . It did not do it the last 50 rounds that I shot . Can anyone tell me why this happened ? It also happend with factory ammo .

I would thing a jam would also happen, but on some bran new models the mag tends to load the rounds up very slowly and won't chamber. Mine did this for a bit until Ifixed it.

Happened to my buddy's Glock. His issue appears to be a fouled striker assembly. I have read about other instances of this type of issue when people clean the slide firing pin end down and all sorts of crap runs into the striker assembly. Have no idea if that is your issue obviously.

Might have been that the gun wasn't going into battery. If the bullet wasn't chambering correctly and the slide was not all the way forward you would see the firing pin indicator not fully protruding from the back and the round won't fire.

Whenever I hear about light (or no) strikes my first thought is crud in the firing pin channel. How many rounds are through the gun, and have you ever detail-stripped the slide?

Save the Americans--end abortion now.
