Anyone ever notice...
...that if you release the mag, then fire a round it will not eject but fall straight down through the mag well? I tried this a few times to confirm, but yes it seems you can fire a round then just catch the case as it falls gently in your support hand if you hold it under the well, kinda neat in IMHO

Mine jams sometimes as the slide goes foward faster than the round can clear that space in there when I fire without the mag in it. The mag keeps the round from falling before it strikes the ejector.
