XD45 Tactical now has Meprolights

Just got them installed today. Now comes the part where I see if I can hit with them.

Nada

No, that's a tiny little manufacturing irregularity. I was kinda curious about that myself.

I will say that if I do this again, I'll go with Trijicons, as they are much more sturdy, not to mention brighter.

What is the model number on your Meprolights? My understanding is that Meprolight is introducing a dedicated set just for the XD45s - #11411 that are due out this summer. The Meprolights for the other XD models (#11410) caused problems on the 45 having to do with sight height on the rear I believe. However, if yours work, that's great. Just curious.

+1 on this summer or even late spring for Meps specifically for XD 45acp's, my gunguy has already ordered a pair from his distributor...now if he can get them on?

I am waiting on a call back from Kimber (Meprolight and Kimber are one and the same) for the latest update on the XD45 sets. Hold that thought. Personally, if you are considering putting Meprolights (and they are very good) on your XD45, I would wait for the 11411s to come out.

New Mepros specifically for the XD45s are due out in April/May. The stock number will be 11411. If Mepros are what you want on your XD45, I'd seriously hold out for the new offering.
