CC work

My .45 ACP compact is currently off at Canyon Creek and I am eagerly awaiting it's return.

Despite the high marks Both Springer and CC receive on this forum I seem to see a lot more Springer work posted in the forums. So if you please:

Post up your CC XD's. I am especially interested in his guide rod as I decided to let him do it than to go with DGR.

And if anyone has a video of his trigger job it would be worth it's weight in gold. Imagining, of course, that data could somehow be weighed.

What is it you think needs fixing?
i'm confused as well, where did this come from? thought he asked for some pics of CC work?

Many people do not like the trigger that many guns come with. Mosy want a shorter pretravel, improved break, and a shorter reset. That does not mean all people want that just some. Now a lot of us shoot in competitions that those improvments lend a small advantage, like IDPA, and USPSA, just to mention a few. That is why we tweek them.

I just have a tendency of getting something that many people have and somehow making it my own. I understand that I didn't do this work myself, but if the rumors are true, then I have done no wrong in sending my XD to a gifted hand like Rich.

As much praise as he receives I can't seem to find a photo of his tungsten guide rod nor a video of his trigger job. For Springer and Don's Guide Rod, however, I can find both of these things. That's all I wanted.

I don't want this thread to become an argument but I don't know how he took my request personally and as an afront to him.

And would it be such a stretch to think that the XD is a tactical pistol AND a target shooter. Blasphemy, I know. Good thing I pray to the church of Richard Dettelhouser. I hear he forgives people for thinking they can somehow make their gun what they want it to be.
