The compact XD45 is a 45ACP pistol that has a shorter grip. More suitable for everyday carry. But, the barrel length is still 4".

More can be seen here:

Just got my compact on Saturday. Dimensions very similar, almost identical in some regards as my Glock23. Shot it at range on Sunday - awesome. Very natural feel and I like trigger better than Glock I have. Will be my carry gun - great dimensions and 10rnds of 45acp - yowza!

tis a beautiful weapon. i shoot the center out of all my targets at the range at 10' - 25'. like after 25 rounds, the center is gone with no bullet holes anywhere else.

I had the pleasure of shooting one at a local range recently. This dude was there and wanted to shoot the wife's XD9, so I got to fire his XD45 compact.

What did I think? I now MUST have one. It was great, less felt recoil than the 9mm (a subcompact). Also, the XD45's trigger was better than the XD9. A must have in my book.

My friend just got his last night. He got the 5" compact 45. Very nice. Now I want a 5" compact in 9mm. Hopefully they will start making those soon.

Does anyone know where to get the full 13 round mags with sleeves for the compact 45? I can't seem to find them at Midway or PistolGear.
