hey guys, buyin my new xd 45 tomorrow still not sure which one yet i wanted the compact 5 inch but the only one i found is $600 and whittaker has it for 502 but its the high capacity and i cant get that here in new york. i think my local gun shop has the bi tone tac i really like that but im also gonna look at the 4 inck compact as well, whatever the outcome just from listening to you guys talk on here whichever way i go service or tac i dont think i can go wrong, the only thing that sucks is because i live in new york i have to wait a week or to to pick my gun up, i'll post what i purchased tomorrow, I CANT WAIT!!!!!

You can't go wrong with either one! I like the service model real well myself. It's what I CCW every day now!

Yeah! I get excited just hearing about someone getting a new gun! Wish it was me! BTW I have a XD9 Service that I carry daily and I love it.
