My XD45c rattles, and its driving me nuts!

I can shake the gun on its own. No rattle.
I can shake the magazine alone, no rattle.

I put the magazine in the gun and hold the bottom of the mag, rattle\
I let go. rattle.
Slide forward... rattle
Slide back. Rattle.

Ive looked everywhere I can all combos yield a rattle. Its loud enough to be constantly irritating and its def. noticable!

Any ideas?

Mine seems like just normal minimum movement of both the mag and the slide if I shake the pistol side to side. Very minimal though.

It's just a warning that the XD is mimicing from a rattlesnake. You hear the rattle just before BANG!

Mine does the same thing. If it bugs you, a simple fix might be wrapping a strip of black (tactical ) electrical tape around the base of the mag just above the buttplate. If that doesn't help, add another strip, but be sure it doesn't get so thick it's hard to insert/remove the mags.
