good size groups??

Just finished first 100 rounds though new XD .45 compact. I must say I love this gun.
---- I've already gotten fairly decent at producing consistent groups, however, as this is my first pistol (I've always been a rifle shooter) I am curious as to what size groups should I be aiming for.

--- My question is, What size groups, center to center, do most of ya'll experience? at 15 yards? 25?

--- Also, I noticed after only about 10 shots and working the slide during dry fire drills, I already had a streak and some wear spots along the top of the chamber where the slide comes back; I assume this is normal and don't really care as long as it goes "bang", I was just wondering if everyone else had similar experiences.

depends on what you expect from a pistol, a defensive pistol which is how i view my xd45 25 yards and 4-5"CtC groups are pretty acceptable. Also, i wouldn't judge the pistol on accuracy till around 400-500 rounds, let it settle in first. i noticed a slight tightening of my groups today when i got up around 300-400. congrats on the new pistol, and enjoy.
