I am looking to get a 45 ACP Compact here soon. I just left the Gun Shop and the have it for $549+tax I was wondering if this is a good price or not? This is the only Shop in town that has the 45 ACP compact. Just wanted some input before I purchase. I have looked on line and I can find it about $70 - $80 Cheaper, but after shipping and transfer FEE it comes out about the same.

I've seen them anywhere from $529, to about $580.

www.whittakerguns.com has for it $476 and www.budsgunshop.com has it for $473. If you can find a local FFL who has a reasonable fee (I pay 10$ at my local pawn shop-pawn shops usually have a lower fee than gun stores), even after the $30 sh/ins (instead of paying about the same for tax), you still save about $70.

I've bought guns from both of the above dealers with no problems.

I can get them where i am a member at the shooting range here in Topeka Kansas for around 449.00!!!If you are not a member its 10% more!!!

Mine was $529 but after taxes it was $572, and I bought the only .45ACP 4" they had in stock.

My XD45 Compact cost me $489.99 + tax & VSP NICS fee at the Roanoke, VA gun show two weeks ago. Another dealer had it for $520 or $530. My local Gander Mountain wants around $549.

You can get them here in Columbus for 449, and you get two extra mags (for a total of 4).
