Wink Lefties

Here is something for you lefties out there...which I fit in with...hehe!!

I contacted Springfield and told them I was interested in buying one of the XD 45 ACP pistols. I also asked about a left handed holster, since the XD's come with a holster and they are all right handed. I got a quick response....I was told that they should have the left handed versions in in about a month and that I should be able to send my right handed version back in and just swap it for a left handed version...So we will see. I sent a message back and stated that I would not use the right handed one I got, so will send it back to them for the trade...Hope it works that way...

Just thought some of you might like to know.

Guz.........the left handed model.....

Let us know when they are ready for the trades and who to actually send it to.

That would be nice. I'll take advantage of it if/when it happens.

Now if only Blackhawk would make a left-handed SERPA holster, I would be good to go.

Since LEFTY holsters are not exactly common I stopped looking once I started doing business with COMPTAC. Everything they make is fantastic. Quality and speed of delivery are amazing.

I ordered a LEFTY Infidel with CTAC clip on Sunday evening for my new XD45 service and I got the holster in the mail 3 days later!

I am still waiting for my Wilderness instructors belt that I ordered on the same evening.

Most holster makers will give you a 30 day to 90+ day wait for a similar lefty holster.

My advice is keep the POS holster that came with the pistol in the case and spend some $ on a good quality holster from a good company like COMPTAC.

Besides if you have the original stuff the pistol came with it will be slightly easier to sell especially if you sell it to one of those damn right handed people.

Of course I could be wrong and this is all just my opinion and YMMV.

Sweet, I have a few left handed holsters, but it'd be nice to have the SA in left also. I think that Blackhawk does make a left handed serpa, but I may be wrong.
