Left handed holsters have certianly been easier to obtain then years past. Back in the day we were treated like freaks!

Leftie Holster from Springfield
Just made a call to Springfield and requested a left hand holster. They said no prblem and would send one right away. Great customer service, got a name and extention if I ever have a problem. Not that I have had any issues yet with my XD.40, with almost 1k rounds throught it. This is a great gun!
Thanks for the heads up on the earlier posts. JT |

Paddle holster
After reading here about the left handed holster I email SA on the 7th and I got a reply on the 11th saying it has been shipped. Great service IMO.

You don't need to swap it. All you have to do is call SA and tell them you are a leftie and that you would like the left-handed holster. They will ship it right out at no charge to you. I did it months ago and got a paddle holster (not sure if they have a left-handed loop holster now) for free. Still have my right-handed holster as well.

No swap required as Trovan stated. Just called them said I wanted a leftie holster and it was on the way. Don't get any better n' that. I'll keep ya posted. Let us know how you fare with your .45 tactical purchase. I'm considering adding one to my stable as well. JT |

I wrote Springfield an email about a week ago, they sent me out a free left-handed paddle holster and told me to keep the right handed holster that I already have. I love the paddle holster it is much better than the right-handed OWB holster that came with the gun. They didn't even ask me the serial number of the pistol or where I bought it or anything.
