Nah, I emailed them and they basically told me to take a hike. I'm going to make my own out of Kydex with a SERPA-ish retention device as not to infringe on patents.

Interesting posts! I'm in the market for a lefty holster really soon, so I think I'll subscribe to this.

I too am one of the elite (a leftie). I just ordered a CrossBreed SOB for concealed carry. I would like a SA holster for lefties for non-concealed use though.

I also called and got the same story. That was about a month ago. They told me to keep checking and that the volumne of requests may speed up the process.

G-Code Left Hand Kydex

I just ordered me a left hand G-code holster...Kydex....I got to see one that a buddy has. Great holster with different configurations....I bought the straight drop belt holster...Also available in a paddle and others. Check em out!!!! 46.95 shipped to my door.. I am planning on sending my SA XD holster back to them and exchange for a left handed model...Once I get the OK to do so...The G-Code will be much better for carry.............Guz

I use the G-Code when Off duty and it is nice. The gun snaps into the holster very securely and it doesn't make any marks on my gun. The paddle is cant adjustable so you dont have to but the attachment, it has an extra hole in the back for the FBI cant. At first the paddle dug into my hip when sitting, but with a little movement to the back, it sits perfect now.

This is great news. But, if any of you left handed guys want to get a leather holster check out the Don Hume XD-40 holster. It's a litle snug for a short time but after almost a year now with mine and you would think it was a .45 holster. I love it.

However, I will definitely get the plastic lefty holster from Springfield when they come out.

Lefties

The new left handed holsters are in at Springfield...I contacted customer service to check on them....They had just arrived...so mine is on the way...If you are a lefty, contact Springfield Armory's customer service and let them know you bought a new XD version and would like to get a left handed holster....I sent them my serial number, when I bought the gun and where....
