Damn right on the jeans! I keep the tag off of my favorite size and style of gun toting jeans in my reloading bench drawer. I hand my wife the tag when she goes out to buy me new jeans so she knows what to get. Now it depends on how much beer I drink but that works out to about 1 to 2 inches longer in the waist. I guess you could say my jeans are sized by the IWB gun and six pack method.

Just go one size larger
I go one size bigger to accommodate my XD45 Service in a CompTac C-TAC holster. And of course, I went one size larger for my belts.

If your pants are snug, you will need to go up one size. With 1911's I have been able to get away with the same size I wear without the gun, but I have a 32 waist. I am waiting for my Milt Sparks VMII for my XD45Compact, and I fear I will need to go up a size or at least an inch. It is a little thicker.
I cannot speak for others, but once I found a good IWB hoster, I have never worn an OWB again in the last 8 years. |

I use it as motivation to lose weight. Until I lose a couple of pounds that IWB is going to be really uncomfortable, or going to languish in the drawer. After I lose it, well I'll have a bunch of carry pants...
