Compact Grip Length
I was wondering if someone with a compact xd45 could measure the length of the grip from the bottom of the trigger guard, to the bottom of the mag well(not the bottom of the magazine). Im debating on buying one but I want to know if my hand will fit before I order(no local shops have them) Thanks

I don't have that particular measurement, but can tell you that if you can comfortably grip the XD9, XD40, G19, CZ-PCR, Taurus PT-145, or PT-745, then you should have a good 3-finger grip on the XD45 Compact.

It's about 2-inches per the gun and ruler in my desk drawer.

I must have unusually short fat fingers because my pinky is maybe 3/4 on and 1/4 off (on my Compact w/ the 10-round mag). I'd like a bit more gripping surface. If and when Pierce introduces a zero mag extension, that should be the fix I need.

I spoke with the folks at Pearce--the +0 mag extension for the XD 45 Compact is in the works. They said to check back with them in March or April.

Yep, that's correct. If an XD40 fits you, then you'll like the XD45 Compact.
