New forum member here....I just picked up the compact 45XD and would like to know if their is a grip extension made for it. I see that there are ones for the 9mm-.40 but it appears that they left us hanging for now. Can these others be Modified to fit? BTW, Great Forum for an awsome weapon!

Nothing yet, perhaps another month or so for the mags with sleeves. Sleeves alonge not anytime soon is SA follows the same path taken with the 9/40 sleeve.

I bought an XD .45 compact in November and it came with a 10 round compact mag and a 13 round mag with extender. I have been trying to buy more mags, but SA is not selling them yet. I got an e mail from them today that says that they will be shipping in late February with March being expected for arrival. I was not real happy figuring that they have been giving me the run-around about these mags for two months now. Hope this info. helps.

Maybe I used the wrong term here. I guess It's called a mag extension. See link: http://www.pearcegrip.com/springxd.htm YES, I can read that it says that it doesn't fit the .45 but I know that there are some inventive types out there that might have figured out a way to mod. it or one made by another company such as glock, HK...etc. Hell it didn't take you guys long to figure out how to make a compact .45 from a full size model. Thanks Guys!
