The bad new is, we screwed up and should have know this. I have not shot the combo yet, but it hand cycles fine. The information sent in our e-mail reply to you is wrong. For this reason, HPD'SRT, we want to send you a spring, to replace the one we originally sent.

This is what I love to see! It is great to see a responsible company with great customer service. I have not ordered anything from pistolgear.com, but I can tell you they are on the very top of my list for my next order. Customer service means everything to me. Call me old fashioned.

Hey HPD'SRT, let all know how that Tungsten rod performs after you hit the range a few times. I have been looking into getting one for my Tact. Thanks

I've got the tungsten in my Tac and it is absolutely the way to go. Had a DGR which was better but this is much more effective. I'm running 230s at between 750 and 850 fps with the 18 pound spring and the recoil is clearly reduced and I have had no ftf/fte.

Uh, Scott, do I need a new spring as well??

No, because you have the "old" style rod, I believe.

Old?? OLD?????

Just kidding. Didn't think I needed one as the spring slid on just fine but wanted to be be sure. Thanks OS

And again.......I highly recommend this.

OS............You using the .45 in L10 and not a .40? I was thinking of doing this myself as I like the recoil of the .45 over major .40 loads but wasn't sure how well this would work.

No problem, I haven't shot it yet, but it feels like I have a dang compensator on it now.

Oh and this is only my second order from Pistol Gear but I have been nothing but impressed by their customer service. They even threw in a PG and Springfield Armory patch free!!

For the past several matches I was. I am going to try the 40 to see how it runs. With the magwell, it shoot make reloads a bit faster. We'll have to see...
