I gotta get this trigger worked on...

or I suppose I should just do it myself -- but TIME TIME I have little to experiment...

Had the XD45 Tac out for LEO training today and I cannot begin to love/enjoy/accept this trigger. Yeah I know, what do you want from a service pistol -- right? And who am I to complain since I won't be toting this brick anyhow -- right?

Well, I want a my 3.5lb 1911 triggers, but that ain't gonna happen, so who does the dance on these XD strikers?

Thanks

Dead

Pssst: The EMS people took to the XD like a duck to water. I'm just not going to let them handle my Springfield Professional any time soon ...

Canyon Creek has the most experience tuning XD triggers, and Springer Precision does a fine job also from what I've heard.

Be very careful though... If you have one of them do your trigger you may find yourself turning to the dark side...

I'm also very tempted to send my gun for one of these jobs. A shorter slack and a buit lighter trigger would sure help me. I want to get some more pistol experience under my belt before doing mods.

Enjoying my XD .45ACP Tactical. need to break in my 870, and my wife's XDSC9.

I carry my XD45 ACP Tactical, in a SuperTuck from CB. Very comfortable, easy to hide, easy to draw, and easy to reholster.

Looking for an HDR*, either an AR-180B, or Kel-Tec FBR.

HDR, Homeland Defense Rifle

I highly recommend Canyon Creek for trigger work. I sent them my XD45 Service. I had the trigger pull reduced to 4.0# for IDPA competition. Of course I could have gone lower, but wanted to retain the ability to use it as a carry weapon.

I would love to get mine down to 2.5# or 3# for USPSA.
