The XD45 Compacts are very hard to find right now, but this one gun shop has a couple of them. However, they want $575 for one, and that seems quite steep to me. What do you think?

One dealer at the gun show in Orlando was selling them for $480, and he had quite a few of them...I don't remember who it was though

Or I would go back and get one. The only store I've seen that has them in stock in the Orlando area is selling them for about $625 (Shoot Straight)

I'm not in FL, but the best prices on Compacts are around $490-$510, plus either taxes or shipping. Check out www.galleryofguns.com for local dealers which have the Compacts. Just put in you zip and search your area, you'll see which stores Davidson's will ship to. At least that'll give you an idea of prices in your area.

Shoot Straight also has a branch of it which frequents the local gunshows it had compacts for $499 + tax at the C. Florida shows.
They do go to the Ft. Lauderdale shows too...$575 is too steep I think...

I have dealt with Shoot Straight before at the local gun shows, and often find good deals with them. They also always have the largest display at the gun shows. I may just wait for the gun show at the end of January and see what they have.
