I called the number and got some dude.... website it iffy, and the lack of professionalism on the phone message would make me think twice.

that's because it's a fresh startup company. He's also a forum member and I'd rather give forum members/sponsors my business because they support something I enjoy therefore, I am getting some of my money back indirectly.

I could care less if they have only been around for a day or a hundred years, if you cant even say the name of the company in the "PHONE MESSAGE" then the quality of your product is something to be desired.

Even better you would figure that a startup company would have more to offer, in any event I would be weary at the least.

The quality of the product looks cheap too.

Last time I checked, a phone message has nothing to do with the quality of a product. At the most, it could be said that the customer service quality is lacking but in this case, I don't think it is. Having seen the designer/owner post on this forum several times, he's always been extremely helpful. As a startup company, I think he would have more to offer since he knows how important customer service will be for him to succeed.

As for the other one, I've NEVER heard of them and that would make me weary. I've heard of the SureSights on several forums. You'd think by now someone would have mentioned the other ones. Also, the writer of their webpage is full of it. I've used ghost sites in the past and recommend them to new shooters to get them used to focusing on the FRONT SIGHT. I shoot with 2 eyes open so that I can "keep an eye" on the target. If you focus on the target with a ghost sight, (in my opinion) it's too easy to shoot off target since there's no alignment possible other than "is it in the middle of the BIG hole?" I know that my grouping is much more accurate with standard sights while ghost rings are quicker and grouping is wider (to the point that I chose to remove them from my last gun that had both ghost ring & standard notch).

That's what's so great about a free market society. If you're not satisfied with one vendors' product, you simply shop elsewhere. You already indicated that you found something that you thought to be more suited to your needs.

Fine.

I'm just curious as to why you felt the need to publically disparage Sure Sight simply because you didn't receive the response you were expecting on the telephone. And then you go on to denigrate their product without ever even having laid your eyes (or hands) on it.

And finally, how does simply saying your company's name on an answering machine equate to a quality product? You lost me there...
