So, Have our prayers been answered? (XD-45 Threaded barrel)

OK, maybe just my prayers...

Alot of talk periodically about wanting an extended, threaded barrel for the XD-45 and lamenting the unavailability of same goes on.

But here's a link:
http://www.efkfiredragon.com/products.php?cat=37
and the drop down allows choice of a threaded extension for a cool 65 bucks additional cost (base cost 214.99!).

WHy the lack of excitement and/or range reports?
Am I wrong and this is not the exact item desired?

I guess i expected more "whoots" and smilie-faces and things i dont use on the 'net over this.

Anyway, is this it or not? what am i missig here?

Maybe because its almost 300 bucks?

and, BTW, any range reports surfacing yet?

Still none for the 5" though (not that I want one). Some are wanting to run suppressors and while that is fine, it's not worth the expense to me.

Inexpensive ($80-$100) threaded/extended/ported barrels have been available for Glocks for some time now. As soon as XD sales reach a point such that demand increases for aftermarket items, threaded barrels and other "common" accessories will be available inexpensively for XDs. Efkfiredragon is historically one of the lower-tier barrel manufacturers. I can't fathom spending $200 for one of their barrels.

Is it possible to buy a 5" barrel for use in a 4" xd .45 and have the end threaded?
