That was shot standing with no rest. I have never tried competition. I have thought about it though. I would not know where to begin.

Good Shooting!

That, IMHO, is some very fine marksmanship, GW45NUT, likely better than I could've done. My recent experiences with my recently-acquired XD Service Model using the same ammunition are similar to yours.

Try SWC handloads when you get the opportunity. My XD seems to really like them, even better than ball (though some forum members report their particular gun won't feed them reliably, if at all). If your results with SWC's parallel mine, you'd produce a target suitable for framing.

That is NOT good shooting, that Is FAN-FReaking-TASTIC Shooting, and will land you winning almost any competition. If that was at 25 yard with WWB, even supported. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TGO's gun with him shooting is a 2 inch gun....So your up there....GReat shooting!

Thank you for the kind words. One of these days I will get into reloading. I have a press just waiting to be set up and a cousin who wants to teach me. Between two jobs and family it is hard to find time.

horrible shooting... can't believe you'd even post that picture and claim it was at 25 yards. You're such a liar. Your gun is not that accurate. in fact, it's way off so you can send it to me and I will be sure to dispose of it properly, so you can get a more accurate pistol ok? I'll even pay for the shipping.

Thank you for the compliments. Yes, it was 25 yards unsupported. The closer ranges are not very challenging any more. I have been impressed by my Tactical. It definitely can shoot beyond my abilities. Mine is totally stock. I have been thinking of doing some improvements with the Springfield Custom Shop. Maybe a Christmas present for me.
