Had a minor probem
I bought two extra mags for my 45 service 13 rounders. When Dry firing I noted that one mag would not drop free on it's own. After going over it many times I found the top near the lips on the back side was not flush. Three taps with a brass hammer and all was well. I don't know if it was the ones that came with it or one I bought extra, but it's fixed. Earlier I had managed to snag the spring on th recoil assy with a rag when cleaning it and pulled the spring off. I got it back on after some work. Called SA told them it had come uncaptured they sent me another plus I bought a spare. Now I have three. I semi-retired the original just in case.

You do know that you can take the mag apart, don't you? Just stick a ink pen or something in the hole in the bottom of the base plate, push the catch in & slide the base plate off. The spring & follower will come out. This makes working on or cleaning the mag a lot easier.

Yep, been there, done that. The problem here was the mag was bent. On the rear of the mag just below the notch between the lips. it was an outie not a flatie. I made it flat again. Good to go. I first spotted a wear pattern in the magazine well on the frame
