That is what's known as a con job to get you to buy his stuff. The difference is Wally world buys it buy the truck load direct. he buys it from a distributer by the case. guess who gets the best price?

Is the WWB at Wal-mart really lower quality than the same stuff at the "real gun store"?

Heard at a local gunshop that WWB is being made by Seller & Beloit due to the middle east demand of late.

Anyone else hear this?

I know for a fact that some Winchester USA ammo (WWB) is being sourced from overseas, but the only caliber I know of this for a fact about is .223 Rem. Haven't heard anything about pistol calibers.

He just wants you to buy from him. He is angry that most people are smart enough to go to Wal-Mart that's all.

I've shot WWB for years with no problems. Well within the past year or so the .45acp 230 FMJs WWB about 1 in every hundred rounds ( or sometimes 1 in every 200 rds ) I get one round that fails to make my slide cycle ( on my 1911 ), the round has fired but it seems their wasn't enough powder to make the brass eject. My slide is back about 20% percent and gets stuck until I manually rack the slide to get the spent brass out. I suspect also that it is being made outside the U.S. But for range ammo it is still hard to beat.

My walmart was selling WWB 45ACP for $22 a 50pk and Blazer Brass for $19 a 50pk. Even the local range which is usually rediculously priced had Lawman for $16/50. I should have bought up a bunch, but I went to Wideners and bought 1000rnds of Blazer aluminum 40 and 45. Came up to $355 shipped.
