I am also 5'7, 150 with a 30 inch waist. I carry most of the time with a clipdraw on my 45 service. I have a crossbreed SOB but it doesn't sit quite right for me so that the corner of the grip can dig into my back. I am picking up a qwikclip and tuckable mag holster from crossbreed pretty soon though. I also use an Uncle Mikes #15 IWB as more of a sleeve for when it goes in the glovebox.

I've yet to find anything I didn't like from Sidearmor, Bladetech, or Comp-tac. Been using a Comp-tac belt holster for a few months now and it is very, very good.

Got myself a Hume Open top.....Too tight for the 45 service. I hope it loosens up a bit. It fits my G34 just fine.

I am 6'0 230 lbs, I have tried several holsters over the years and by far my favorite is the Blackhawk Serpa CQC. The release on it is easy to use, some of the other plastic/kydex holsters are dificult to retrieve the pistol from. my .02 cents....

I currently use the Blackhawk CQC w/ SERPA. I find that I mostly use it in the paddle holster configuration for some reason. I guess it feels like it's more secure like that.

I bought a "bare asset" model from high noon holsters for my xd-45 ( highnoonholsters.com ) after hearing about it from a couple people here. It was $32 shipped direct to me. It's a great iwb holster, it's comfortable, it's adjustable, and it felt like a good fit to the gun right away.

Also they have a lot of information on their website, and the look of their other products (and prices) makes me think I'm probably going to get other holsters from them also. And no I don't work for them.

Here is my 45 compact and the Comp-Tac Infidel.

I ordered it on Tuesday and was wearing it on Saturday. I use CTAC's for my other guns but decided to try this. So far so good. I did modify it a bit. It holds the gun real tight and feel just as good as the CTAC.

I have a 5" Tactical in 45. I am 6'3", 220lbs and wear concealed most of the time. I use the GALCO Miami Classic. If you have a loose jacket or shirt, it fits fine. Been looking for an SOB or a crossdraw (I'm ambidextrous), but haven't found one that I could wear without the weapon jutting out at an angle that drew attention or it looked like I was carrying a small dog on my hip.
Suggestions?

What did you do to modify your Infidel? It looks the same as the pic on the CompTac site.
