GHG - Ghetto Heavy Guide rod
Anyone tried filling their XD 45 Tactical Guide rod with lead? I'm wondering if it would be just as heavy as a tungsten guide rod...

W is far more dense, so no, there is no way to fill the same cavity with a material of much lower density and make it heavier.
density of Pb=11.35 g/cc density of W =19.35 g/cc
