Springer Trigger ... worth it?

I hit the range today after having a carry trigger job and new sights installed by Scott ... I am really concerned ... this could be a real problem ... do I have enough resources to pay for the amount of ammo I will need now that my XD45 Tactical shoots almost as well as my 1911? Such problems ... Scott said it would change the gun ... and it has ... a quick 100 rounds today just let me get used to it ... more ammo! Thanks Scott ... John

(You should see what he can do to a 1911 trigger )

+1 I've been really satisfied with the work Scott has done on my xd45. The wife is still enjoying Scott's race ready I bought for her earlier this year. The only drawback now is that we both think a stock XD trigger just doesn't fell right anymore!

Another 200 rounds down range

It's so much fun ... I didn't even take my Kimber 1911 to the range today ... the XD was enough fun ... I guess I shouldn't be surprised ... but I am still a little surprised ... at how much difference the trigger job makes ... and I think the Dawson fixed Tritiums also help ... nice big front dot ... tiny rear dots ... no confusion about where to focus ... time to explore IDPA! What options did you have Scott work on? What do you recomment? polish feed ramp, basic "xd" factory clean-up (is it even worth it for this option), fit barrel (does this increase accuracy alot?) thank you for the info.

Chat with Scott directly ... let him know what you are going to be doing with your XD ... and he will suggest a couple things ... I can only speak to carry trigger job and new sights ... John
